HANNAH SCOTT-STONE
COMPANY DIRECTOR

I I joined Footprint in 2011 as a law graduate from the University of Sussex and have worked my way up within the company, becoming a Company Director in 2022, and joint owner with Zoe Jones following a management buy-out in the same year.

I have over a decade of music licensing experience and have particular expertise in the UK market, specifically with regard to PRS and PPL licensing. I am responsible for all the major PRS and PPL broadcast and on demand licences for our UK clients and our large multi-territory international clients who have a foothold in the UK. On top of this, I have many years’ experience of negotiating music licences in the Netherlands, Sweden and a variety of other countries, including Australia and New Zealand.

What I love about my job is that each negotiation is completely unique and every day is different, and I feel lucky to be able to work with some of our longest-standing clients and to negotiate some of our largest deals.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, and am currently on maternity leave with my second daughter. My favourite place to be is on a walk by the seaside and looking forward to my next escape to sunnier climes!
